I think that a mentor would be a hugely beneficial thing to have. They would be a go-to person whenever you had a question, which in a brand new industry would take a huge amount of stress off your shoulders. The mentor would be able to give you their specific insight and knowledge on a more personal level. When this happens, you here more of the important things to do with the company, not just the generic answers that they are told to give you. Also the mentor would be able to give you a heads up on all of the other people you are competing with because they can connect you to their network of individuals that they work with on a daily basis. Having a mentor is a great program and I hope to have one wherever I end up.
